We had a super & totally awesome & amazing time at the Natural Products Expo West this past weekend at the Anaheim Convention Center!!
We went all 3 days. So much walking! So much treat & sample eating!!
There were over 60 thousand people there and 2400 exhibitors.
Wow!! So much to see!! So many incredible health conscious products and companies.
Yummy tasty healthy treats and samples everywhere you looked! We had dieted all week in anticipation.
For the first hour I didn’t have to suck my stomach in.
After that, and after an alarming amount of (mostly) chocolate samples, I had to start sucking in 🙂
Kind bars and Daiya vegan cheese had two of the largest booths there.
Brian and I love Kind bars and they were giving away the cutest bags and T shirts! Oh my, they have SO many good flavors.
Daiya cheese was introducing their new vegan cream cheeses, frozen pizzas and more.
Lara Bar had a big booth too and some absolutely delicious new flavors.
Amy’s and Annie’s were there too, they have yummy, popular veggie foods.
Coconut water was big this year, and also chia drinks, like the sweet & nice Mamma Chia we tasted.
My favorite juices were Raaw Fruit & Vegetable Juice and Evergreen Wheatgrass Juice.
My favorite powdered wheatgrass drink was Green Foods organic raw Wheatgrass Powder. It’s dark vibrant green and really good!!
There were tons of chips there, Mary’s Gone Crackers had a big booth and tons of samples, and Plentils (with Lentil powder!!) PopChips and lots more.
And several popcorn companies too.
There were several raw vegan booths there, Go Raw and Ultimate were there and Navitas Naturals had a big booth (I love their cacao),
Living Intentions, who had a huge booth, stocked with all their fabulous, addictive and good for you flavored nuts and treats.
There were a few raw companies with crispy crunchy yummy Kale Chips, a few raw vegan Macaroon companies, Cocoroons and Laughing Giraffe.
Other raw vegan booths were Gnosis Chocolate, so yummy & such unique flavors, Divine Organics, with their beautiful, stunning and incredible tasting products.
They had some new & very tasty Spirulina snacks and of course their divine chocolate brittle.
Earth Circle Organics was there, with wonderful and fabulous samples. 2 Moms in the Raw were there, with really good bars.
There were a lot more booths with terrific looking raw nut & fruit bars that I wanted to try, but I was trying to practice will power. Ha!!
There were soooo many Chocolate booths!!! Green & Black, ChocoLove, Endangered Species, Shaman Chocolate, and so many more I can’t remember.
Stevia Chocolate was popular, and one booth was decorated with lots of little baby stevia plants that everyone could nibble from.
Yum!!! Fresh Stevia leaves are SO sweet!!
Dragon Herbs also had a big beautiful booth, full of their teas. Maca Magic was there with their Amazon rainforest herb tinctures and maca powder.
Coconut Bliss was there with creamy, dreamy new flavors of vegan coconut ice cream, and there was also an Almond Milk ice cream that was really good.
We got to meet Killer Dave, from Killer Dave’s Bread, which is really yummy healthy bread, if you eat bread, and my parents buy it all the time.
Their Sin Dog cinnamon is soooooo good!!! We get it at Christmas and it’s a super yummy treat.
It’s better than a cinnamon roll and so much healthier!! Mmmmm I hardly ever eat bread but his is terrific.
There was also a giant section of Supplements and natural cosmetics and beauty supplies. I like Enzymedica’s Digest Gold, all their products seem really good.
We did a quick cruise by the Cosmetics & Beauty but there were several lovely looking companies with nice products, like fun natural soaps, shampoos and lotions.
Lots of booths were giving away such cute reusable bags…now we have so many great Fruit picking & grocery bags!
After the Expo, we got a bunch of giant Aloe leaves & a big flat of dark green wheatgrass to make up for all the weekend’s munching & crunching.
All this week I’ve been juicing & eating big huge salads (yes, still cabbage!) with seaweed, and smoothies to get back on track.
Look at the gorgeous Bok Choy Green Juice I made yesterday!
Over the weekend I did SO many sit-ups, to atone for all the chocolate 🙂 that my abs have been super sore until today. Ouch!!
I’m probably forgetting more amazing & spectacular booths & products. There were so many. The Expo was SO MUCH FUN, I wish we could go every weekend! Thank you to Brian for taking these pictures.
