Hi everybody! It’s been a FABULOUS Mulberry season followed by a lovely Blackberry season on the Farm! We’ve been getting some early Black Sapotes too.
I’m so excited that it’s time for Luscious Lychees and my favorite fruit of all time, CHERRIES. I love Cherries!! We ate about 10 lbs EACH this past weekend.
It looks like it’s going to be a super spectacular Summer, because the cherries we’ve gotten at the stores so far have been marvelous. Huge, plump, sweet and juicy!
In the pictures below, you can see I made a Health Boosting Tonic from a centuries old Recipe that’s well known to herbalists but most people have never heard of it. It’s hot, spicy, delicious and SO good for you! It improves your digestion, circulation and your immune system!
It was SO fun to make! I’m going to start another batch soon 🙂
It’s made up of two words, “Fire” and “Cider”. A brand new company came along and copyrighted the name so I can’t say them together, but you see what I mean!
The recipe is versatile but usually includes most of the following: raw garlic, onions, horseradish, hot peppers or chilies, ginger, turmeric, rosemary, lemon and orange peels and honey to be steeped in Apple Cider Vinegar for several weeks, strained, and then taken in small shots. It’s really good, hot and spicy!
And it’s FUN & EASY to make yourself!
