It was another enchanting August in the Pacific Northwest! Warm sunny weather, spectacular sunsets! Cute fuzzy Raccoon babies and yummy wild berries to pick, lots of super fun hikes.
I left Hawaii, flew to Seattle and took a lot of pictures from the airplane window 🙂 as you can see…
We had a really fun family outing and took a ferry to Hood Canal, where I have tons of happy childhood memories of tree climbing, swimming, playing on the beach and eating wild strawberries. Such a spectacularly beautiful spot!
My Raw Vegan diet gets very FRESH and local when I go home to visit my family. I love to hike all around and pick greens and berries. So I always make Green Smoothies with all kinds of edible weeds like Plantain, stinging Nettles, Horsetail for us and also Berry Smoothies with tons of Blackberries and Huckleberries. There are so many antioxidants and nutrients in dark purple berries!
It’s always fun to watch the adorable Raccoons, squirrels, coyotes, deer and chickadees too. Mommy raccoon brings her babies and it’s so cute to watch them play, wrestle and roll around! They absolutely LOVE to play in water…
From Seattle I flew to LA where I’ll be spending the fall enjoying the sunshine and amazing beach weather!
