Giant Mangos & Goji Berries!

Happy & Healthy
Giant Goji Berries!!
Giant Goji Berries!!

Wow!! Look at these HUGE goji berries and enormous mangos! I weighed a mango this morning and it was 2.5 lbs. Omg! Then I ate it 🙂

We’ve been having delightful Fruit Adventures lately.

I got to go back to the French Fig Farm and meander around again, sampling so many different varieties of extra special figs, and lovely grapes too.

There are SO MANY Passionfruit and tomatoes ripe right now. Oh dear, poor tomatoes! It’s so hard for me to leave them all on the vine, all shiny, red and gorgeous, with no chance of being picked. I pick as many as we can eat, but there are so many left.

And passionfruit everywhere, green on the vines and purple, littered all over the ground. Scattered all over the fallen macadamia leaves. Big, purple, sweet & heavy Passionfruit, full of juice. Yum!!!

I had a Passionfruit Apricot smoothie tonight as my Midnight Snack, with Bee Pollen & coconut water, strained so it was super smooth with no seeds. Oh….sooooooo good!!!!! Now I’m having medicinal Mushroom Tea. It’s good too!

Some nuts are starting to fall too, and soon we’ll be eating super FRESH raw rich & creamy mac nuts. And jujubees and persimmons! The trees are full of white Sapotes right now, slowly ripening. Yum! I’ve been making some extravagant Raspberry Sapote Smoothies. They’re divine!!

Brian had a brilliant idea of mashing up all the ripe White Sapotes in a strainer. Wow, it really worked! They’re full of pointy seeds, so hard to cut away the fruit. It was lots easier this way, and I froze the creamy fruit in ziplock bags for future smoothies & frozen fruit desserts!

We’ve had some crazy hot days lately, and down on the farm it’s a million times hotter, plus so humid. Ready, get set, melt! That’s how I feel as all my sunscreen starts to slowly Slide South. Ha!!

I’ve been making some intense Veggie Juices lately, Dandelion & Ginger, and Parsley, Bok Choy, fresh Turmeric and Garlic. Yikes, it’s powerful. Tomorrow I’ll juice the rest of my bok choy and Pennywort (gotu kola). I spurged and bought Rambutan at the Asian market when I went to get all these veggies. I LOVE rambutan…

Brian made the cutest and most delicious dried Cinnamon Pear slices in the dehydrator. Oh my!!! I couldn’t stop eating them when they were half done and still squishy soft. Like cookies! What a fantastic healthy treat! Cheap, EASY and so tasty. Who needs candy?? Just chocolate,  right? Ha!!! Fruit & chocolate 🙂
