I spent a super fun day with a friend at the LA Arboretum and hiking around Devil’s Gate Dam.
The arboretum and botanical gardens are beautiful, enormous and full of peacocks and fascinating trees, flowers and plants.
This giant Red Mustard was really impressive and I absolutely have to start growing this and the gorgeous dark purple Red Kale immediately!
Plus, I used to love watching Fantasy Island when I was little, and it was terrific to see the house they filmed for the show, Lucky Baldwin’s mansion which was built in 1845 as a honeymoon present for his 4th wife. She was 16, he was 56!
